OUR CORE VALUES
Since Jesus is both Lord & Christ (Acts 2:36), we should receive Him as such & live lives that are centred around Him. Lordship is about who He is & what He did for us, not about who we are & what we do for Him. We believe that "in everything He must have the supremacy" (Col 2:18), not just in church matters, but in all of life - not just on Sundays, but everyday. This is true worship.
As Jesus came to seek & save the lost, we recognise that ‘lost’ people matter incredibly to God. Therefore, we value evangelism, which is all about developing relationships & sharing the good news with lost people.
We believe that all Christians are called to be disciples or followers of Jesus & all Christians are called to make disciples – that is, to help others follow Jesus. Following Jesus, helping others follow Him & furthering the Kingdom is what discipleship is all about.
We value godly leadership development - training men & women to become servants of Christ & influence their world for the Kingdom of God.
We are a ministry that values family relationships – especially between husband & wife, & parents & children. Our marriages & our children should be healthy, happy & whole. By extension, our relationships within the church – a spiritual family – should also reflect the bonds of love & trust found in natural family.
